Case #10 - Yesup

Yesup is probably the person who can be easily said to have stolen the most art in GASR.

Congratulations!

A lot of our previous proof was destroyed in the fire (group got deleted) but this is what we managed to save from the flames.

And Yessup deleted MOST of her stolen crap from her photobucket!!!!1

Anyways let's start at the begging..

This is the picture that first caught our interest with Yesup.

The picture that started it all.

There was quite a collection of pictures that looked like the above all being claimed to be drawn by her.

To our confusion when we looked further into Yesup's photobucket we found pictures that looked like this..

Yesup is great at tracing drawing.

Talk about weirdly inconsistent. But interest in her eventually died down since nobody could find the originals.

Then one day we found some pretty odd looking display pictures made by Yesup. To nobodies shock she wasn't just stealing drawings she was stealing bits and pieces from other enhancements and slapping them in her own pictures.

Smart as Yesup is she deleted them all of her photobucket and unfortunately NOBODY thought to save the lulz.

This is the only picture that still remains.

Someone put marking on the DP to help her better position the face. Sadly the original was deleted.

But you can EASILY see how obviously copyied + pasted parts of the face are.

She doesn't even know how to position them correctly.

Now we move on to more troubling things.

Apr 02, 2010 - Yesup enters iSungmin's request

April 14, 2010 - Yesup gets bored and decides to doodle over the forums.

Wow.. picture speaks for itself.

Well this looks nothing like the things she draws usually even if it is just a doodle...

Looks like a 10 year old drew it...

April 20, 2010- Yesup makes a shop this is what her enhancements look like.

This is how Yesup enhances without stealing parts from other people.

You would think with her drawing skill she'd be better at making enhancements? Not to be rude or anything...

May 22, 2010 - Yesup enters Withered's request.

This is a "collab" she claims to have done in real life that took her 4 weeks.

(Please note that when she posted the request hadn't even been open for four weeks olol)

First off it doesn't even look like the "reference". Like were did that necklace even come from? Secondly this is a drawing by an artist named Mary Klinge. Here's it in her photobucket.

June 13, 2010 - Yesup posts an experimental headshot in the pricing and critique thread.

This headshot she claims to have made herself is actually traced. The original art was made by kiminess from deviantart.

Here's an overlay of the two images to show you how clearly traced it is.

As you can tell by putting all of her art together there's NO WAY they were drawn by the same person. She goes from animu, to realistic, to 10 year old and then back again.
Not only does her style jump but we have proof that she traces.

LOL WHUT? Could this be her original artwork? 

We'll never know for sure.. but it looks more like her doodles then anything else she does.

This traced drawn Chibi that was uploaded earlier in Yesup's gallery looks very familiar to this new chibi she drew.

Hmmmm.

Lastly wth is Necroberry's art doing in Yesup's photobucket?

AND no I'm not suggesting that Yesup is Necroberry. I just wonder why it's there...

For what evil purposes is she using that picture for!!

Anyways, Yesup apologized for what she did and claims she's done stealing.

To me this seems sincere.
Also I personally have seen her new work and nothing seems as "sketchy" as it used to be. Her new stuff looks like it's actually been made by her.

Of course, she's not going to gain everyone's trust over night. Nope, she'll have to earn it and work hard to post WIPS maybe do a couple of livestreams here and there just so people will learn to trust her again.

Good luck Yesup and I do hope that you do try and do things authentically.
Your new work looks MUCH better than the stuff you stole anyways.

We will not stop watching, of course. c:

Case #9 - Clingey

So this is the case about Clingey.

Yes she is the girl that  "innocently" made her username "BunnyShocks" and cause quite an uproar for coying Bunnysock's name.

You might also know her as Kawaiicrush.

Anyways one day in the Critique and Pricing thread Clingey posted these two icons below.

WOW both of these icons look very familiar to these two made by Frailty do they not?

No not just familiar she obviously took the borders from Frailty's icons and slapped them on her own creation. 

I mean you have to be blind not to see it

Well someone caught on but a stunned Clingey does her best to deny that she ever took anything from Frailty.

Later Clingey makes a shop (which was deleted before I could screencap it) and then tries to pass off this icon as original work.

Again this icon has the border taken from an icon made by Frailty! Not just that but the loading bar was taken from lollirot's icon.

You can see by the overlay animation below how perfectly the borders match up.

Clingey tried her hardest to prove that it was just some sort a coincidence that all these borders seemed to match up perfectly and she didn't steal them just was "inspired" by them. However, FOUR thefts make it kind of hard to give someone the benefit of the doubt.

She eventually admitted her theft.

Today she claims that she has learned her lesson and that stealing stuff gets got her nowhere and she is very sorry.

We truly hope you've learned your lesson.

Case #8 - GlTTE

So this is the post about GlTTE (which makes me very sad).

You may have known her better as Rameboez.

Anyways she entered Pop's Art Contest (several times) but this is the entry that we will be looking at.

It looked oddly familiar. 

Luckily anonymous found why this picture looked so familiar. 

This is the original drawing made by a deviantart artist named gueuzav IN 2005.

As you can tell GlTTE traced this drawing for Pop's contest.

Here's an overlay for further proof.

An overlay of the images. I didn't even have to resize GITTE's drawing it fit on it perfectly.

When GlTTE was confronted about it she said something along the lines of..
"I didn't know I was doing something wrong! I'm bad at poses!"

Drawing isn't like a pixel doll were it's acceptable to use a "base" hun.

Pop made no comment when the proof was sent to her but she didn't award GlTTE any prizes for this drawing at the very least.

But she did win a whole bunch of other credits for her other art.

Which makes you wonder did she also trace them too?

Case #7 - Virudical

The user Virudical made a shop on Gasr in the past and took 3 of the following pictures from Sakimichan from deviantart and altered them by changing the color tone, level, and edited the hair by drawing on her own hair. Then she sold these images.

She admitted to taking the images and claimed that she "learned her leason".

Case #6 - Joust

A user by the name of Joust has been proven fraudulent.

I know it's been almost a year since this user has made display pictures but now we find that this picture..

Which was made for a request for an unknown user (the name has been forgotten) but this picture was also used as an example for his "Cafe' De Pâtisserie" shop.

This picture is not original work.

It came from a deviantart user called raynkazuya shown below.

As you can plainly see by lining these two picture side by side they look EXACTLY the same.

Some parts haven't even been edited much. Not even the tones of the skin colors either.

Parts have been taken from that image there is no doubt.

Now it makes sense why the "before" picture looked nothing like the end result.

Case #5 - Bullshet

The cruel irony hurts. Yes it does.

I never ever expected to have to post something like this.

She's probably the artist on GASR who has had her work stolen the most. 

Turns out she's stealing as well.

You all probably recognize the picture that Bullshet made for luba.

Here's a picture of her posting it in her shop.

Then one day anonymous found a picture on deviantart with hair much like the picture you see above.

They don't only look similar but they are the same. Sure in the version made by Bullshet for luba she did fiddle with things slightly change a couple of strands but the hairs match up.

But wait maybe it's on another account of Bullshet or something like that? The only problem is..

• The comments on the first pics were from 2009 and Bullshet's pic for Luba is from 2010.
•  The profile of the first is saying she is 19 and from the UK and she signs her pictures with "Lesley".
•  Bullshets homepage saying she is called Sabine, is 18 years old and from the Netherlands.

When confronted about it Bullshet did not deny that she copied + pasted the hair and she claims it was just a one time thing.

Nope it wasn't a one time thing. Bullshet was anything but honest.

While I was searching deviantart I cam across this lovely picture by Angela-T.

Look familiar? Yes that would be where the face came from for luba's picture. She just slapped that face on there and edited it slightly.

Notice how the left eye in this picture barely changes?

Same shading on the neck (it's not even edited) same facial proportions and you can even see were she used some of the hair from the original.

Chances are the other parts of the DP came from somewhere else too (like the hand / coat + the rest of the hair).
The hand now that you look closely looks very choppy (like it was pasted on) and it doesn't even look like the cigarette is placed properly in that hand..

No wonder it only took her like 2 hours to make this art.
