Case #20 - xIWuveUx

This girl DISABLED herself sooo quickly after she was called out on stealing.
She didn't even try and defend herself.
No lulz where had here.

So yeah as usual some user by the name of xIWuveUx (which is probably an alternate account of someone) makes a shop in which her and her "bf" are selling premades.

Case #19 - Guest_OwlTicket

Case #18 - XelNc [ now IRDesigns ]

This is your most common theft. A user by the name of "XelNc" is taking random drawings from different users on deviantart and trying to sell them as premades.


The posts were removed from the "GASR Premade Market" but luckily I screencapped them.

Now I don't know about you but, common sense says that she is not two different people on deviantart (very popular people at that).


Even more convincing a while back (18 weeks ago) I sent a note to Mariyumi concerning another theft of her work and she said that she did not have an account on imvu.

XelNC's account was made in Febuary of 2010.


So Mariyumi herself could not could not be XelNc.


After I sent XelNc a PM about the theft, she didn't even give me a reply and quickly edited her posts in the GASR premade market removing the pictures.
She obviously had a guilty conscience.

Many people have their doubts about the legitimacy of her tutorials.


No question though she's still stealing. The section that we will be focusing on is her "sketches".

Both of these images can be found on the first page of deviantart by looking up "scene".

She spent 50 seconds looking for a picture and then probably 10 minutes tracing it.

"It took me a long time" my ass.

So EVEN today she has not learned her lesson or changed her ways.

She's still stealing and people keep buying.

UPDATE - December 31, 2010


In case you are interested to see what kind of person XelNc is you should look at the drama that took place in the last few moments of her thread to see how she not only didn't take responsibility for her theft but now thinks that to make things better she has to mindlessly accuse random people in the forums [ with no proof might I add ] of theft. Congratulations XelNc you've hit rock bottom.


So yeah Bedlam being "God almighty" and Bus who was probably there for the lulz posted in her new tutorial thread demanding that she come clean for the theft she committed and they both asked for a public apology. 
Bedlam was pretty bitchy as usual but at least somewhat polite.


Bedlam said something like this... [ I didn't screencap it ]


"Bus asked a legitimate question.
Why would you be getting all defensive if you don't have something to hide?
Changing your name and pretending you didn't buy a whole bunch of tutorials that you later ripped of off isn't going to make you look less guilty. 
You want a clean slate well you're going to have to earn it.
How about you come clean once and for all."


Not the exact words of course but you get the idea.
She then responded ever so gracefully. 

So then Bedlam and bus simply tell her if she wants to be left alone that she has to come clean and then everyone will move on. Dodging around the truth will not earn anyone's forgiveness. 


So it came down to two choices. XelNc could choose to try save her skin, ignore what she did, and make Bedlam her "enemy". Or she could come clean and ask for forgiveness. 
As you may have guessed she choose the path of immaturity. Go figure. 


I guess at the very least I owe her the decency to post her apology here. I mean I want to post both sides of the story. This is her long and sad post about how badly she's been treated and how Bedlam wants nothing more than to eat her human flesh.

1. First off I'm not "stalking" you. Someone else PM'd me about your name change. Why do people PM me this crap? Because I'm in charge of updating the blog. I'm, however, not the only one who cares about theft in Gasr. Obviously. 
2. Uhhh that's funny because you've NEVER Pm'd me before. When I confronted you of your first theft you simply edited your posts and gave me no reply back. However, to be fair, you don't owe me an apology. You owe the people you STOLE from an apology. They are the ones who may or may not give you a second chance.
3. I'm not listening to you? All you said to me was LEAAAVVVEEEEE MEEEEE ALLLOOOONNNNEEE. That's the only thing we've ever said to one another. 
4. You never gave me a PM so stop acting like you did. 
5. Okay first off that's not even the picture I'm talking about (look above for the many thefts she has committed) and what about your sketches? No wait those don't apply after that one premade you were a changed woman! Nice taking responsibility for what you did.
6. So after you do the right thing and you admit your theft now you change gears and start personally attacking me. Oh yes it's a joke that I make free tutorials on youtube. Wow. You have nothing else to call me out on so you pick that? Really? That's the best you can come up with?

10. I have no desire to be a moderator. I do however, have a lot of respect for those who are moderators. They do a job that I most certainly do not want to do. If I was interested in kissing ass to become a moderator I would not call you out on the forums. All I got was a forum warning.

As her final act of vengeance she decides to harass all those who accused her of theft (or took Bedlam's side) by accusing them of theft! Like her word means anything now. Not only that but she calls out Bedlam for trying to be a "GASR police" and then you turn around and do the same thing? Maybe somewhere her head she thinks that if she calls out people she'll look like a good person. Or maybe she's trying to prove some sort of point. The problem is we had proof that she was a thief and she has none. 

Like take Multigasm for example. Multigasm stood up for Bedlam and all of a sudden XelNc barges in her thread and calls her a thief!

Oh wait no of course she turns it around and says "If you're not guilty then neither am I!". She doesn't have anything to prove that Multigasm is a thief in any way. She's just merely trying to prove some sort of point. 

What she doesn't realize is Multigasm didn't steal a whole bunch of art like she did. THAT'S the only reason anyone was ever suspicious of her.  If she was talented herself and made all these tutorials, like she had us believe, then why on earth did she steal so damn much with her own "art". That's the question we want answered. 

Hopefully that's the end of the drama. 

At the end of the day all we got out of this was a sad apology and some finger pointing.

At the very least if you have half a brian you will see what kind of person IRDesigns really is. 

Nothing I could write could convince you of that better than her own actions. 

I apologize for having to act like the GASR police but XelNc had gone too far.

Case #16 - Trundy

Alright so if you where ever part of the GASR crusader chances are you should remember "Trundy" as the girl who was copy+pasting parts of that famous enhancement Bullshet made for Inara.

This is one of the pictures Trundy made.

As you can obviously tell parts from the face where taken from that enhancement.

Anyways this happened in like April of 2010 (??). There was more proof but unfortunately it was lost when the group was bahhletted.

When Bullshet confronted Trundy she admitted what she did closed down her shop and we never herd from her again...


Until just recently.

Case #15 - Zelotic

This is a post about Zelotic who has been caught editing licensed photographs.

What she was editing was NOT stock images.

This is her shop (which of course she closed down after people called her out) lucky for me I screencapped her post before she edited it.

As you can clearly see directly in her post she claims that "she's meshing an avatar with a real life person."


Okay well whatever as long as she's using stock images that say that's it's alright to be used for commercial purposes but that's NOT what she's doing. She's taking copyrighted photos and using them in her work.


When she was confronted about that this is what she had to say.

Now she is right I looked everywhere on the deviant's page and there's nothing about about copyright or anything like that. So I sent a message to the artist himself to see if he allowed her to edit his photo and sell it. I'm still waiting for a response.

But then comes this picture she made for sometim3.

But wait a minute right there in the description of the image there's a link that says "copyright notice".

So as you can see the artist says NOT to edit the pictures in any way and NOT to use them as icons.

She got caught in her lie. 

She didn't look to see if she had permission to use them and she definitely did not ask.

Case #14 - Guest_Anazls / Not

Seems BJD pictures are making a come back even though they're not allowed.

Guest_Anazls was caught stealing BJD pictures and selling them for a very large amount in the GASR. Then only later to be found out she is actually Not's alternate account. It's sad to see such talent go to waste.

This was Anazls original post which has now been removed to the fact she has been disabled:

Unfortunately some got sold to unlucky buyers.

Now she states she spent an entire month on these.

So folks, please be weary of Not and her alternative accounts as well as ANY BJD pictures being sold in the GASR.

Case #13 - Slinky

Slinky was caught selling stolen BJD images, which aren't allowed in the GASR anyways.
She had a shop in which she stated the following things:


"All BJDs where photographed by me. (with permission from the owners)"
"Please do not steal my work.. v_v"
"Do not claim as your own. "
"*There are a Lot of scam artists on GASR who will save pictures from image sharing websites and sell them as their own. I am not a scam artist! All pictures where photographed and edited my ME."

They all claim that she is the only owner of the BJD pictures in this shop:

The others are probably stolen as well but are harder to find the original copy.

From these pictures you can see that she didn't even make an attempt to edit them she just re sized em and slapped them on a blank 160x220 canvas.
All the artists that we found were contacted of their art being stolen and we are currently waiting their responses.

As for her other art, you should be cautious of what you're buying from her.
She stole once, she can steal again.

Case #12 - Artisticutness

Artisticutness is another one of Yesup's alt accounts.

But of course, at first Artisticutness completely denied being Yesup's alt.

Anyway Artisticutness has been copying and pasting parts and putting it on DPs.

Let's begin with these pictures which she posted in the critique thread in GASR:

It's pretty easy to tell that the nose has definitely been pasted on, even the lips do.

I took some samples of the skin colour of the nose and the skin colour of the surrounding skin and they are shockingly different. Also there seems to be a square outline around the nose, clearly suggesting some copying and pasting.

Also, in some of her other DPs that she's made, there seems to be the same nose and the same purple outline around the lips.

In most cases where she's pasted the nose, the nose is not even going in the right direction which it should be facing if it was edited/drawn correctly. The nose shows knowledge of tone and shadow and shine but the rest of her DP does not particularly show that. It looks like someone else has edited the nose.

When confronted with suspicion of copy and pasting, Artisticutness completely denies it, as well as denying being 'Yesap' (Yesup) and claiming she came to IMVU for a 'fun editing experience'. However later on in the thread, Artisticutness admits to being Yesup.

If you're still not convinced in this picture it is pretty damn obvious:

She claimed this was a 'WIP' of one of her DPs.

As you can tell this skin around the eyebrows, lips and nose is a completely different colour to the surrounding skin. In fact, if you look closely you can see the outline around them.

The nose is the same and once again facing in the wrong direction. The lips also once again have the same funny purple outline, and both of these features look EXACTLY the same as in the other DPs. It's fine to have the same style and technique, but I think this is a bit too similar.

Also the edits in this WIP show a much more advanced understanding of editing - quite contary to her usual editing style.

You'd think her talent in editing and understanding of tone and depth would transfer into her drawings, but it doesn't, at all.

I think we can safely say that this is a case of copypasta THEFT.
